Insights from the Verint Partner Conference: Shaping the Future of Contact Centres and Customer Experience.
Our Solutions Consulting Manager, Gareth James, recently travelled to Phuket, Thailand, for Verint’s APAC Engage 2024—a conference for Verint partners and contact centre customer experience professionals across the APAC region.
Held at the stunning Angsana Laguna Resort, the conference offered a wide range of activities, from keynote presentations, deep dives into the latest in customer experience technology, to roadmap sessions and valuable networking opportunities.
But for QPC Australia, and Gareth, it wasn’t just any business trip—it was a game-changer that’s set to redefine how we operate in telecoms, connectivity, and future-first tech solutions.
The conference spanned three action-packed days, kicking off with a bang as QPC Australia took the honours, winning the ANZ CCaaS Partner of the Year award. It was a proud moment, especially seeing our efforts at a large Victorian Services organisation recognised among the industry’s who’s-who. Gareth also took to the stage for an interview with Leana Marx, Verint Partner Manager, where he shared insights on how we’ve been driving transformation with this specific customer, who we are unable to name at this time.
In addition to these welcome accolades, attendees delved deep into discussions led by industry leaders, exploring topics like bots, digital transformation, AI, and machine learning. One session that particularly resonated was led by Simon Kriss, an AI expert, delivering a reality check on the potential pitfalls of rushing into AI without proper oversight. It’s a lesson we’re taking to heart as we integrate AI into our solutions and services here at QPC Australia—doing it right, from the start.
Of course, it wasn’t just all work and no play. There was fun to be had at the partner welcome drinks, mingling with fellow industry peers and celebrating our wins. And let’s not forget the beachside dinner on day two, complete with local performers, music, and fireworks. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of intense (and eye-opening) discussions.
Now, Gareth’s trip wasn’t without its hiccups. A luggage mishap meant he had to accept our award in shorts—a bit embarrassing, but all part of the adventure!
Reflecting on the event, one thing is abundantly clear: the insights we’ve gained will shape the trajectory of our business. From fortifying our partnerships to staying ahead of the curve with emerging tech, we’re more prepared than ever to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
What else did we learn? That putting people and processes first is what will set a new standard for excellence in our industry.
